Well I’ve been eagerly waiting for the follow up to the #1 indie hit song ‘Costa Rican Girl’ from the ever impressive composer, record producer, keyboardist player, and the UK’s #1 Independent Smooth Jazz Artist James Colah. ‘Costa Rican Girl’ was a very nice easy going song. I just love it and to date has remained on the Top 50 Indie Smooth Jazz Chart on 96.9 The Oasis for 27 months and that in and of itself is very impressive!

His New track is called “Yes!” and that’s what I was saying to myself the whole time listening to the track. Its bouncy! It will move you! Very uplifting!

I’ll tell you this song put me in an optimistic mood. I’m sure it will do the same for you. It’s pure Smooth Jazz that is in a class by itself. James is like a fine wine! But what else would I expect from London Born James Colah.

Now here is something else that is amazing about this New Track “Yes”. James plays ALL the instruments and does all the vocals too! In fact he composed, performed, produced, mixed and mastered it all! Simply incredible! No wonder he’s the UK’s # 1 indie Smooth Jazz Artist!

He just keeps getting better, and better all the time! I didn’t think it was possible, but James once again proved me wrong! I’m happy about that.

“Yes” was a very pleasant surprise and has me whistling the tune all day long. This is a must download to include in your collection of some of the finest Smooth Jazz in the world. A must download.

DAMN THAT’S GOOD! Maaaan! You did this sooo right! Here are my immediate thoughts.
James Colah’s ‘YES!’ is another powerful piece where he outdoes himself. It’s one of those songs you imagine at a grand ceremony. I can see guys finding a way to work this into their marriage proposals and brides making sure this one gets into their wedding ceremony playlist. It’s absolutely magnificent from the start as it sweeps you off your feet with an incredible intro. The song keeps a great momentum that uplifts the spirit and carries it into a whole other realm of joy. “Yes” is a mental and physical voyage of “feel good” that everyone needs at this time in their life. This is a winner and James Colah should be quite proud. I look forward to playing ‘YES!’ often and on repeat.
You make people fall in love with you with this music, James. I had the same emotions at the start that I do when Roland Orzabal or Curt Smith (of Tears For Fears) walk into a room. My heart fluttered, I can still feel it beating fast. I’m going to have some more water and go lie down. That was an extraordinary piece of music and can’t wait to hear more! Ouf! It’s so gooood!

Although I don’t know much about jazz, I do know when I enjoy listening to a piece of music! I had the pleasure of meeting James almost 35 years ago when he was hired as a keyboardist with The Adventures to open for Tears for Fears during their 1985 US tour. It delights me that he went on to have such an illustrious career in the realm of smooth jazz. It amazes me that he writes, producers, and records all of his own music in addition to helping other artists. He is a true Renaissance musician! “YES!” is a highly enjoyable composition and puts a smile on my face every time I listen to it. I look forward to what comes next from this brilliant musician!
